A. * The electrical equipment for the most powerful electric locomotive is being built for Henry Ford, of car fame. It will run on the Detroit and Trenton, and will lie a giant in size, weighing approximately 750,000 pounds, and being 117 feet long and 15 feet high. It will have 16 250 horse-power motors and these will be connected to 16 pairs of driving wheels. The locomotive is intended for freight service, beingcapable of handling a train oi lou freight cars. Its running speed will average 17 miles an hour with a maximum of 30 miles.an hour.
