MAGISTRATE’S COURT

BY-LAW OFFENDERS FINED. The fortnightly sitting of the H'awera, Magistrate's Court ms continued to-day, Mr. J. S. Barton, S.M., presiding. Erie Tapp pleaded guilty to a charge of driving a motor truck along Glover Road without a light. The police stated that when apprehended defendant stated that his lights had hist gone, out, which statement was borne nut by a lamp being still warm. A fine of 7s, fid and 7s court, costs was imposed. A. charge of riding a motor cycle in High Street without lights was preferred against Jack Telfer. Defendant who did not appear, was fined 30s and 7s court costs.
