At the Supreme Court James Henry Williams was Found, guilty of breaking into the Bank of New Zealand and stealing cash and stamps to a small amount. Identification was established mainly through boot-marks, the accused'' wearing peculiar boots, which were identical to marks, found on.'cloth in the bank. The accused has ispent almost half .Ms life in. gaol. *He was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment.
