The strike in the Japanese cotton mill at Shanghai, which began last week, has spread till it has involved 30.000 operatives, belonging to 13 Japanese mills. Serious disturbances have occurred. The strikers attacked the mills and damaged the machinery, and injured a number of Japanese.—Reuter.
