POSITION IN HAWERA. The position has not changed so far as the Hawera Health District is concerned, and the mpdical superintendent at the hospital advises that, lie has nothing further to report, and that the eases under observation are progressing satisfactorily. A case of infantile paralysis, that of a two-veav-old child, lias been definitely diagnosed at Riverton. The Health Department state- that it is a contact case, and they have taken the usual precautions.
