DEATH OF ELSIE CAMERON. at CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPY RIGHT LONDON, Feb. 8. 'Norman Thorne was committed for trial at the Sussex assizes after evidence in which Sir Bernard Spilsbury ( (honorary pathologist to the Home Office) had testified that Miss Cameron’s death was due to injuries to the fac-e, head ami limbs. There were no indication that- death was caused by hanging. DETECTIVE'S NEW THEORY. The Scotland Yard detectives are pursuing a new line of investigation concerning the murder of Miss Elsie Cameron. a London typist, whose dismembered body was found buried under Norman Thorne’s chicken run at CYowhorough, Sussex, a month after she had disappeared. . V The detectives, it is stated, are paying special attention to the neatness which the sacking in which. Miss Cameron’s body was wrapped was sewn. They are anxious to discover whether mo* - e than one person witnessed her death. A woman at Crbwborongh! had been interrogated.
