MOUMAHAKI FARM.

ORIGINAL POLICY UNCHANGED. Ever since the statement was made that the farm was to he closed down as an experimental area and cut up into several farms for leasing an effort has been made to keep a portion round the homestead for demonstration purnosee, but the department refused this unless subsidised by the settlers somewhat on the lines of Stratford. This the settlers would not do, and in consequence the orignial plan has been carried through. The subdivision has been made, and it is understood the property will he submitted at an early date.
