(Received Feb. 3, 9.5 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 2. The Dailv Mail Warsaw correspondent reports that the body of a beautiful young woman named Margot Nadau, was found on the railway bridge crossing the Vistula. Millie. Nadau arrived from Berlin three months ago. She _was a skilled linguist, and of great beauty and personal charm. She rented a luxurious Hat, and her visitors included prominent residents, Polish and Allied officers.
The police suspected her of espionage, but were unable to ascertain on whose behalf, but they believed it was that of Germany. When the police decided to expel her on an unimportant technical charge, influential Polish officers vouched for her good faith. The police released, but watched her. She disappeared during a foggy night. The police searched her flat and found many important military documents. Her body was found on the bridge two days later, shot through the brain. An army revolver was alongside, and the position of the wound indicates that it was not suicide. The police believe that a Polish officer found she had used him to betray his country and had shot her.—Sydney Sun Cable.
