INCREASED LETTER WRITING,
LONDON, Jan. 5,

Contrasting this with the position in West Australia, lie comments: “Interesting figures have been gleaned concerning the West Australian airways. The inauguration of the air mail revived the- habit of letter writing in sparsely populated areas. The aeroplane’s chief recommendation is not its speed, but the ease with which it opens up country.”
