WEDDING.
MARSH—SANSON A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised in the Kaponga Methodist Church mi the' 14th inst., when Rita May, eldest daughter of Mrs and the late Mr Thomas .James Sanson, of Waitoitoi. was married, to George, second sou of Mr and Mrs S. Marsh, of Urenui. The Rev. C. H. Kendon officiated. The bride, who was given away by Mr E. Marsh,' presented a charming appearance in her dress of white silk, with the usual veil and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of gvpscphila, sweet seabious, and asparagCTs fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Eva Marsh, wore a dress of pale pink crgandi, with hat to match, and carried a bouquet-' of sweet peas and asparagus fern. The bride was also attended bv a dainty flower girl, little Jean Marsh, attired in pale blue, crepe-de-chine. A wreath of blue daisies entwined her hair, and she carried a basket of flowers of delica.te tints. Mr Charles Northcott acted as best man.
After the ceremonv some 40 guests were entertained at Hey’s tea rooms,, and later, amid good wishes and show-' ers of confetti and rice*, the happy couple left on their honeymoon trip ‘to New Plymouth.
