OPUNAKE HOSPITAL.

NOTES OF INTEREST. In the report of the New Plymouth Hospital Board, the medical superintendent at Opunake reported that six patients had been admitted, nine discharged, and one transferred, and there was none remaining in the institution. The gift f Pom the Opunake Girls’ Club of five baby basinettes was gratefully acknowledged. The nurse in charge also reported on the cases which had passed through the hospital, and stated that fees collected, amounting to £49, had been handed to the secretarv.

The board passed a resolution of thanks and appreciation to the Girls’ Club for their gift, and congratulation to the Opunake people upon the practical interest taken in the hospital.
