MOTOR TRADE.

BAN ON EXHIBITIONS

BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT

(Received Jan. 21, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 20.

A statement has been issued by the Motor Society, after being announced at a most representative gathering of the industry ever held, which unanimously confirms the previous decision regai'ding exhibiting at Wembley. It denies the assertion that this attitude was influenced by foreign interests, and points out that the British Cycle and Motor Cycle Union had adopted the same attitude, while the Motor Society laid down the same policy towards British industries fairs organised by the Department of Overseas Trade.
