A wireless amateur named Marcuse, residing at Caterham, had just finished working with an Australian station at six o’clock this morning w'hen he received a faint call. He was surprised to learn it came from Dr. Rice’s expedition, located in the wilds of Brazil. Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
