Wills and Miss Huggins 9. 92 —177. OPUNAKE v. KAPONGA. A team of twelve, representing the Opunake Club, visited Kaponga on Saturday and defeated the home placers be 15 sets (123 games) to 5 sets (90 games). The weather was fine, though not ideal for good tennis; play was handicapped by a stiff breeze blowing from end to end of the counts. When the approaching darkness compelled the conclusion of play, four, sets —two ladies’ singles and two gentlemen’s singles—remained unplayed, but these could not have affected the result, Opumike’s lead of 5 sets having made their position secure.
