EARTHQUAKES.

BLENHEIM SHAKEN

Three shocks of earthquake were experienced here, throughout, the ntgnt. cue at 11.20. one at 11.25. and the third at 12.15.

The first shock was very severe, a number of chimneys being damaged. The ’quake rang the Blenheim hrebell. Stocks on the shelves in shops were scattered on the floors. Very little damage was done.

Earthquake shocks were also fell in Elawera last night about 11.20.
