An unexpected appreciation of the All Blacks from a new standpoint conies from M. Cliastenet, Senator for Gironde and reporter to the Budget fo; the Ministry of Fine Arts. M. Cliastenet, in conversing with the vice-president of the French Rugby Federation, after the Colombes match, said that lie considered the game an admirable vision of art. “What a fine picture of agile and graceful athletic gestures the New Zealanders made! In my report on fine arts, 1 shall advocate a closer union between art and sport.” Fog delayed the All Blacks’ arrival at Toulouse. A number of excursions were arranged, but the team is training daily except Saturday’, when it will be resting. The members arrive back in London on Tuesday evening.—Reuter. TESTIMONIAL FUND.
