FATAL SHOOTING ACCIDENT. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CAMBRIDGE, Jan. 14. An accident occurred at the Horahora power station last evening, by which a single man named Thomas I'Yew lost his life. Deceased and another young man named William Moulden were in the latter’s cubicle. Moulden was cleaning a rifle with a piece of cloth, which caught the trigger and the bullet struck Frew, who was sitting on a chair about three feet away. The bullet entered the head through the frontal bone of the forehead. fracturing the skull. It appears that Moulden had been out shooting on the previous evening, and had forgotten that he had left the rifle loaded. Dr. Stanley and Constable O’Sullivan were summoned and found Frew uncoil scions. He was removed bv car to Waikato hospital, where he was operated on last night, but died early this morning. Frew was 21 years of age ami resided at Te Kawn, Te Awamutu. »
