DOMINION TOURNEY. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. The Dominion bowling tournament was opened 1 to-day in fine weather. The greens were in excellent condition after the light rain which fell on Saturday night. The championship singles will be played to-day. Mr F. Meadowcroft, president, declared the tourney opened, and- play commenced at once. Five games of singles will be played to-day. There are 144 players competing.
