NORTH ISLAND TOURNAMENT (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. The North Island Croquet Tournament was continued on Saturday in a high wind t which made play exceedingly unpleasant and somewhat uncertain. Results: Handicap singles: Mrs. R. Gardner (2J-) heat Rev. C. Meredith, (minus by 26 —18. Open singles : Mrs. F. A. Tiffen beat Mr. Stratton by 18 —26.228,6 —8,26 —3, an dwon the championship. Handicap doubles, won by Mrs. C. Watkins and Stratton, of Hastings.-
