MANY IMMIGRANTS SAILING. (By Telegraph. —Special to the Star.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 10. The Immigration Department has had a busy month and faces further heavy immigration shortly. The Ilorarata, especially chartered for the conveyance of assisted immigrants, leaves Southampton on Monday for Auckland with 700 passengers. The lonic left Southampton on Friday for Wellington, and the R emu era and Arawa leave later in the month for Wellington. These four ships are bringing a total of .1700 immigrants.
