BY AEROPLANE TO THE POLE
CHRISTIANIA, Nov. 17. According to a New York message to the Tidens Tegn, a sum of £20,000 has been placed at the disposal of Captain Roald Amundsen, to enable him to embark on an aeroplane expedition to the. North Pole. The flight will be made from Spitsbergen in June of next year. _
