INFANTILE PARALYSIS
DEATH REPORTED AT NAPIER. \ (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NAPIER, Jail. 2. One of the children of a family from Wellington on holiday in Napier died in a private hospital from infantile paralysis. Another child of the same family is under observation. [On December 29 the Hawera Star published a statement that two cases of infantile paralysis had occurred in Auckland, while’ in Wellington 14 cases had been reported in a fortnight. There was a severe epidemic of this disease in 1916.]
