During a debate on the Amnesty Bill in the Chamber of Deputies, Berthan, a Communist, violently attacked the army. , Balamant, an Opposition member, shouted “Shut up.” Raynard, a supporter of the Government, rushed at Balamant, whose well-directed blow knocked his assailant out, and ushers carried him out of the House.
