Mr Chamberlain expressed gratification at the attitude of French diploanacy in connection with Egyptian affairs. Britain was pursuing a policy of reciprocal good offices in Morocco. The Russian fleet must be handed over to the Council of the League of Nations, since the Soviet Government was now l'ecognised.
