LONDON CONFERENCE.
MAY NOT EVENTUATE. BY ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT ; LONDON, Dec. 29. ‘ None of the Dominions has officially replied; to the British cablegram with reference to the Geneva protocol, but press .telegrams from Australia, Canada- and South Africa indicate that they ‘are unable to attend at London m March owing to local Parliamentary conditions.
The Colonial Office points out- that while Britain still prefers a personal conference to consiiltation • by cable, the matter is- entirely one for, the Dominions. to decide. Britain did not •propose a conference; it merely sought the opinions of the Dominions regarding such a meeting.
