We have over 50 returned soldiers her© and this most generous gift will be greatly appreciated by them. There is a big circus oii at present in town and 1 propose using some of the money to send in as many of the men that are fit to go. Please convey to the ladies my grateful thanks tor their self-denying effort It is most gratifying that after all these yoars; there are still people who remember our unfortunate soldier patients, and that such a, large sum should be collected from such a small district is highly.
