A BOGUS CLERGYMAN

One morning, however, it was found that he had disaiipeared, and clothing and a wristlet watch-be-longing to the other boarders were also missing, Inquiries bv a detective led him to Kooweerup. At Catania, eight miles out, lie found that the man had been representing himself as the “Rev. Mr Haslam,’’ a Methodist clergyman oil furlough from Adelaide. He wa,s to have preacher atNttfe local Methodist Church on the following Sunday. .
