The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day: The indications are for varable and strong breezes, northerly winds, ’strong to gale, prevailing and backing by west to south; 1 the weather appears likely, to be cloudy and unsettled; heavy rain is to be expected; barometer unsteady; seas heavy; tides good. • -
