BURGLARY AT MANAIA.

YOUNG MAN ARRESTED

REMANDED UNTIL MONDAY,

A young man named Garnet Clark was arrested at Manaia this morning bv Constable Scannell and was brought before Messrs A. H. Christie and A. Muggevidge, J.P. ’s, on a charge- of breaking and entering - the residence of Mr Nairn, schoolmaster, of Manaia, and stealing therefrom the sum of £42 in cash.

Accused was remanded until Monday, bail being granted in.two sureties of £2OO each and self £SO.
