INCOME OF CLUBS. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 19. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, the New Brighton Co-operative. Money Club was fined £2O for failure to furnish an income return. The Ashburton Club and the Mutual School of Arts were fined £5 on similar charges. VICAR INJURED. AUCKLAND, Dec. 19. Canon F. W. Young, vicar of All Saints’ Church, Ponsonby, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital tonight suffering from injuries to his head, caused by his being knocked down by a motor car while crossing Ponsonby road. At th e hospital a minor operation was found to be necessary, and this was performed. Canon Young’s injuries are not regarded as serious.
