Gratifying success attended the sale of work and Christmas tree held in Gillanders’ new- buildings, Union street yesterday, under the auspices of the Christian Women’s Auxiliary of the Church*of Christ. The ladies in charge of the cake stall did exceptionally good business, but drapery stall was not so well patronised as was expected. Anything suitable for Christmas presents were readily snapped no.
