Ltd., Hawera branch, report as follows: At; Hawera. on 18th inst., we had a good yarding and report a total clearance at satisfactory prices:—We report: Fat cows £6 to £7, fat heifers £8 6s, fat cows £3 10s to £5 ss, works cows £2 15s to £3 15s, works bulls £4 to £5 15s, 2-year steers £4 16s to £4 18s, 2-year Holstein heifers (r.w.b.) £3 9s, yearling Jersey cross heifers £2 10s, others £2, fat and forward ewes 275, cull ewes 7s Id, store pies 375, weaner pigs 295. At Filth am on I7th inst.. we had a fair yarding and report as follows: Eat cows £6 10s, forward cows £3 12s to £5, works cows £2 10s to £3 5s works bulls £5 os to £7 10s, springing heifers £2 10s and £.5 10s. ewes wit hlambs 275, 3-year steer? £6 4s.
