SUNSHINE DAY.
TRIPS FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS. In common with.motor proprietors all over the Dominion, the local firms are arranging a trio by cars for. those j who. unfortunately have been laid aside by illness in the Public Hospital, and also inmates of the Old People’s Home. We understand that to-morrow (Friday) the oid people in the Home, and also as many of the patients-.in the hospital who 'are fit to travel will be taken for a drive to some parts of the district. Then, probably on Monday, if it suits the Salvation Army Boys’ Home, the boys will be taken c.ut probably for a picnic to the Opunake Beach. The idea is an excellent one, and the outings are certain, to be enjoyed to the full by them all. The motor proprietors are entitled to cordial commendation for their thoughtful kindness. It will he a veritable ray of sunshine into the lives of those who are- given the trips.
