BURNED TO DEATH.
ELDERLY CARRIER’S END. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PAHIATUA, Dec. 18. Thomas Brannigan, a well-known elderly carrier on the Makuri-Pongaroa road, was burned to deatli in a whare early this morning in Pongaroa township. He was subject to heart disease. The actual cause of the fire is unknown.
