Jas. Paddock and Murchison, the two great American sprinters, the former holding no fewer than eight world’s records, will be arriving in New Zealand in January, and as Hawera is due for a visit from the next overseas team, local supporters may expect to be treated tc. an exhibition by these world athletes. In view of the expected visit, members of the Hawera ‘Amateur Athletic Chib would be well advised to see that nothing is lost for want of adequate training.
