SERIOUS CHARGE.
YOUNG MAN COMMITTED. (by TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. PALMERSTON N., Dee. 12. At the Police Court John Lionel Perrin (25), charged with, attempting to commit rape on a single woman, pleaded' not guilty, and was committed for trial at the Supreme Court at Palmerston. Bail 'was allowed.
