WELCOME AT WELLINGTON. <BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Dec. 17. The Governor-General and Lady Fergusson leave here on the 29th December on their first official visit to Auckland. They will stay there about a week. .The date of the first visit to the South island'has not yet been fixed. Their Excellencies received of telegrams of welcome from -all parts of the Dominion. This morning a representative deputation of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand presented a loyal address. The General Assembly was represented by the moderator, the Rev. G. Miller, of Dunedin, Rev. J. H. McKenzie, and Rev. W. Ciomrie. The Wellington Presbytery was also represented by clergy and laymen.
