Sir John McWhae, formerly AgentGeneral for Victoria, who has just arrived from England, said that quite a fleet of Italian ships is now on the point of being finished for the purpose of bringing immigrants to Australia. The people will have to pay only £8 a head, and will bring their, own food and sleep* on the decks of the’ vessels.
