The Daily Chronicle says Sir Hari Singh’s English secretary has returned to India after a special visit to London for the purpose of explaining the Rajah’s .viewpoint. It is understood hp told the authorities that although the Rajah would have iiked to assist the, Public Prosecutor in the proceedings instituted lie felt it would be too much to expect him to come to London to undergo "the ordeal of cross-examination ina criminal court. Turkish newspapers are publishing the lie.
