The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day the 'indication’s are- for westerly ;wirids, strong to gale, and backing by west to south. The weather will ; probably prove squally and changeable. Rain probable and probably becoming colder. Barometer Unsteady, • but rising ,soon. Sea heavy: tides good. .
