NOVEMBER WEATHER.
HEAVY RAIN IN TARANAKI (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Dec, 5. The Government Meteorologist’s weather summary for November states: “The -weather returns for November again show a higher’temperature than is usual, for the month. 'The rainfall was aboye the Average in the, pi ovinces of Aucßlarid, Tarahaki, Nelson arid Marlborough; Which wris owing to two ex-tropical disturbances, one at the beginning of tlie; month, and the, other culminating about tUS 1-B’th. These did not account for heavy rains in other parts of tlie Dominion, where the records show that the rainfall was below the average. Westerly disturbances also passed ori the 2nd, the 16th and the 27th, but except lor the one about the 16th were only o-f moderate intensity. “The barometric .pressure was somewhat unsteady, but was mostly, above normal.. Many parts of the country report warm, sunny conditions. Phenomenal growth was experienced, exeept in some parts, where the fairiMll wris deficient.
