On Wednesday, at Inglewood, there was a gqod yarding, pf all classes of cattle. At Stony River, ori Tuesday, we report a medium yarding. Prices in store pens were on a par with recent sales, yearling heifers showing a slight improvement. “
On the same day, at Stratford, we conducted our . usual fortnightly sale. Yve are pleased to report a good yarding, and the whole was cleared satisfactorily at tlie hammer. Fat and forward cows £4 10s to £5 Is, heavy works cows £4 to £4 ss, store cows at late rates, dairy bulls to £7 10s, works do. to £6.
At Auroa, on Friday, the sth inst., we had a light yarding, effecting a good clearance at late rates. We quote: Porkers 38s, stores 255, works bulls (heavy) £6 12s 6d to £7 17s 6d, others £4 to £6> fat and forward, cows s£s to £6 14s, works cows £2 10s to £4 16s.
