The bazaar now open in the Winter feirnw Buildings otters many attractions apart from the tug-of-war contest, the ladies concerned having on the various stalls a very fine display of articles, useful and ornamental, as well as pro - duce, sweets, etc. ’ The. fancy work stall is in charge of Misses Power and Joyce, who are assisted by Mesdames Wrightson, J. Brown, Myers, Turnbull and Comber. Gn the stall is a great display of beautiful articles, hand needlework being a retire in the more important of the exhibits, such as silk trousseau, linen bedspreads, supper cloths, etc. A Christmas Tree will also be unloaded tms evening in connection with this stall.
The children’s fancy and produce stall is in charge of Mesdames F, J. Jackson and B. A. Paterson, assisted by Mrs J. G. Douglas and Miss Scoles. I ret-tv nearly all tastes ar© catered for at this stall.
Mrs O’Callaghan has charge of the sweets and ice cream stall. Little description is here needed, but everything is of the best and in boutiful supply. Misses White (2), Lode. r and Kent arc the assistants.
Mrs Gallagher has charge of another fancy and general stall, which is replete with articles to tempt the visitor. The assistants are: Miss M. Mesdames Dolan. J. A. Cameron. C. Ferguson, Misses M. Carroll, M. Dolan. Kirby, McCormick, and E. Nolan. The hoop-la run in connection with this stall is in charge of Mesdames W. Walsh and J. Goodwin . The attraction the tug-of-war will offer has already been fully dealt with in previous issues, and there should be a large crowd present this evening.
