Spanish peace negotiations with Abdel Krim iiave apparently 'been abandoned ab present, owing to the exigence of the Riff leader who, according to the Limes langier correspondent, still demands the evacuation of the entire Spanish zone, w r ith the exception of Ceuta Melilla, and also' claims a war mdemmty of £600,000 and other impossible terms. Krim holds about 1200 Spanish prisoners.—Times.
