Cosgrove, has ngured prominently in the public and social life of the community, and at last evening's meeting of the Town .board further emphasis was stressed concerning the regrettable loss which would be sustained by the townspeople should the band be allowed to discontinue its activities. n , cli ainnan of the hoard (Cr L G. Nielson) expressed regret that there had been such a comparatively email attendance at the public meeting called on \\eclnesday evening to consider the position which had arisen consequent upon the decision of band members to hand in their resignations. Continuing, the chairman explained that as it had been considered that the gathering was not fully representative of the townspeople the„ discussion had been postponed, it having been decided to call a further meeting in the new year.
