NELSON’S LOAN PROPOSALS. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. NELSON-, Dec. 4. • The Nelson City Council yesterday earned loans totalling £51,000 for street improvements, drainage extensions, freshwater and saltwater swimming baths; and the new bridge in Trafalgar Street over the jVlaitai River. Rating on unimproved value was defeated by over a two to one majority. Sixteen hundred voted out of a. roll of 2700.
