Ihe jury returned a verdict that the husband was not guilty of cruelty in tlie society, divorce case in which ■Owsley Rowley sought a decree against his wife who is a daughter of the Earl ii on the ground of her alleged misconduct with Major Edward George Clarke. The wife, in a crosspetition, asked for separation, on the 2™und of her husband’s cruelty. The jury however, was unable to dea ®.the wife’s alleged misconduct with Major Clarke.
