THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale and backing by west to south. Expect warm and humid conditions; weather clouding over, rain later. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising soon. Sea considerable; tides good.
