OIL BLAZE.
IN LOS ANGELES FIELDS
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT NEW YORK, Dec. 1. Disastrous fires are raging in Los Angeles oilfields, having started in the Santape district. Twenty tanks, each containing 2500 barrels, are ablaze, and the fire is spreading rapidly. The flames are three hundred feet high Fire fighters from three cities are battling against the conflagration. The damage is estimated at 1,000,000 dollars.
