Ladies’ singles: Miss Akhurst beat Mrs. Harper 6-1, 0-6, 7-5. CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Dec. 2. The annual championship, meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tenins Association is to be held on the courts of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, commencing on Boxing Day (December 26) and continuing until December 31. The tournament will be continued on the following days if necessary. Nine grass courts will be used for the tournament, and special seating accommodation is being erected at the Stanley Street courts in order to meet the demands of the public during the tournament.
